About Us

Uplift Investment Group

We are seeking to raise $25 million to provide disadvantaged homeowners of Seattle the opportunity to comfortably live and own equity in the very communities they helped build.

Displacement in Seattle has been a very unfortunate side effect of Seattle’s developing economy. Instead of the normal extractive economic model, of purchasing and displacement, we are seeking community partnerships. Typically, an acquisition would call for entire lots, whereas we have the flexibility to acquire whole lots along with partial lots in partnership with the owners, rather than displacing them. This approach provides our fund with a competitive advantage during the acquisition stage, which is a highly competitive stage in this process.

The fund will be managed in strategic partnership with more mission-aligned groups. Uplift Investment Group, a black-owned fund management organization.
